İstanbul days!

Hey lads, here we are back with some pic's and updates. Our days in Istanbul have been great, and really loved this amazing city. Its character and diversity has caught us, there is always something to visit or to do here, and definetely will be in our top rank of favourites cities.
The amount of different civilitzations that settled down here shaped up the city personality and left dozens of amazing footprints and stunning sites. Starting with Sancta Sophia, a truly impressive basilica, later converted into a mosque and now a museum. The city is full of mosques, no matter where you look at, you see a minaret. There are loads of Roman Ruins around, Egypcian columns, and then the huge legacy of the Ottoman Empire. It is a city of immense disparity, and heavily sprawling as it receieves thousands of immigrants every day.
Our days went by fast, enjoyed a fantastic ferry ride across the Bosphorus strait all the way up to the Black Sea, dedicated a day to sample Sancta Sophia and the Blue Mosque, spent another day in Beyoglu, a modern neighbourhood with old Genovese construccions like the famous Galata Tower, and finally went mad in the Grand Bazar. This is a huge market, where you can easily get lost and can buy almost all the turkish souvenirs. We just bought a silk scarf for Nuria to cover her head and be extremely beautiful while entering the İranian Embassy in Ankara, let's hope it will help to get the visa straight away... İt was a funny shopping; Nuria drove crazy the poor shop attendant, asking many prices and bargaining. At the end, the poor boy shaked Jordi's hands and said: "your girlfriend is very difficult..."
Today, it is a rainy day, so we will take it easy. We must say that the rain has been with us for a while almost every day, might be a curse?
On Monday we will take a train to Ankara and see if we are lucky with the Iranian officials. Fingers crossed!
All the best! And Kisses!
